Your feet shouldn't hurt
PowerStep is another project where CollectiveColors had the pleasure to collaborate with Pop Design Works. PowerStep is an eCommerce and informational portal for high grade orthotics.
The PowerStep web site required news and other content publishing, product sales, as well as role based and bulk rate discounts. Most of the required functionality was already available through contributed modules however two modules, uc_member_pricing and uc_bulk_discount, were created specifically for PowerStep. These modules are released on Drupal.org for public use.
The PowerStep site is currently live however it is still a work in progress. Phase 2 of the PowerStep project is due to be released early in the upcoming week. This phase will allow PowerStep to have more effective online relationships with their reseller network.
One nice feature of the PowerStep solution is the store and doctor locator. The locator features were built with views by exposing the reseller location fields. Once a zipcode is input into the system, the location module uses geocoding to find the nearest resellers. These results are then fed into Google maps attachments to render a user friendly map.
We built the PowerStep theme using the Basic theme as a starting point. The unique PowerStep design and flash animations were created by the excellent folks at Pop Design Works.
