PureMVC is a lightweight framework for creating applications based upon the classic Model, View and Controller concept. PureMVC is a free and open source framework based on proven design patterns. PureMVC was originally implemented in Action Script 3 for use with Adobe Flex, Flash and Air. PureMVC gives the developer increased flexibility and modularity of component structures by separating coding interests into four main parts: Model, View, Controller, and the Facade.
